One Month in New House

We've been in our new house for one month. No room is completely unpacked. There are unpacked and semi-unpacked boxes in every room. The stress of our home in constant chaos plus regular everyday life is taking it's toll. There is no good place to put the girls'stuff right now (or a lot of our other stuff). Their bedroom was mostly emptied so I could paint. Also, they are sleeping on the floor in the living room while I painted, so the living room is in a state of constant bedding. There were closet doors laying on the floor in the living room too, but now they are propped up behind the rocking chair. Piece of the girls' closet shelves are pretty much everywhere in the house.

There is light at the end of the tunnel though. I have finished painting the girls' room, which should help the mess a lot. Most people get a deer-in-the-headlights look when I tell them what color I painted the room, so you'll have to wait for pictures. This week I am focusing on putting their room together and helping them learn where the toys go now so that they can help clean up too.

The Pizza Guy has been working hard in the yard.  He has repaired the two lines of sprinklers in the front yard and is starting on the back.  He has also moved a lot of rock.  We are hoping to  have the backyard somewhat cleaned up by Saturday as we are going to be having a belated birthday party back there.

Hopefully I will be back with pictures of the inside soon.
